DESCRIPTION:
E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 6 Regulator" figure eight wall clock, 8 days, time only, weight driven movement in a walnut case with painted metal dial and reverse painted tablets, c1880
CONDITION:
the case retains its excellent original finish with a crack repair to the left and right side of case bottom. There is a very old chip to the case at the lower part of throat glass. There is a 1" triangular piece of weight baffle absent from both upper left and right sides. The dial signature has some fading and the "& Co." has been touched up with pencil. This is a very nice example of a No. 6. Ht 59"
